By dividing your hard disks into partitions, you can separate private and professional documents, for instance. We recommend two partitions: one system partition with all Windows and software files, and a data partition with all your personal or professional files such as photos, videos or Office documents. This setup also makes data backups and restorations easier. The Start CD from O&O PartitionManager is based on Windows PE, and lets you extend, shrink or move system partitions – depending on their data volume and file system – very conveniently and easily.
