As opposed to userChrome.css/userContent.css styles, Stylish styles can be applied immediately without requiring a restarting, and there's a nice UI to do it in. Stylish is the Greasemonkey of CSS, complete with an online repository of styles at http://userstyles.org
If you also use Search Engine Ordering, make sure you've got the latest version of that.
