You can play for free 1 grid per day without registering. Sudoku is derived from the Latin square and the problem of the 36 officers of the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler. The goal is to fill the grid with a series of numbers (or letters or symbols) all different, that are never more than once on the same line or in the same column, or in the same sub grid.
