Aurora wakes you and your Mac right on time, so you don't need to leave your Mac running. You can even power it down over night.

Sleep Timer
Fall asleep to some tunes, a DVD or a Quicktime movie. Aurora fades out the volume and display brightness and puts your Mac to sleep automatically.

Bring your own playlists

Alarm Time in Dock
Aurora's dock icon shows you the next alarm time, even when Aurora is not running, so you can tell when your alarm will go off in a glance.

Apple Remote Support
Your Mac is not within reach of your bed? No problem! Control alarm playback, volume and snooze using your Apple Remote.

EyeTV Support
Wake up to the morning's news thanks to Aurora's EyeTV support. Aurora can play both EyeTV TV and radio channels.

Aurora is always reliable
Have your alarms set up? Great. Now make sure to follow these three rules, as Aurora depends on your Mac to wake up properly and your speakers to be audible, else it cannot reliably play music amd wake you up.

Don't close the lid
Some notebooks won't be able to wake up if their lid is closed or if they aren't connected to a power outlet.

External speakers
Leaving powered off speakers plugged in will turn your Mac completely silent.

Auto-Login
If you'd like to shut down your Mac over night instead of putting it to sleep, enable Auto-Login for your account.
