SwitchSync for Tungsten T3 & E works on Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E devices. Just like the SwitchSync standard version, it is used to synchronize the Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes applications with both Palm Desktop and Outlook.
The Outlook synchronization is the built-in utility for Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E. Then unlike the standard version SwitchSync. So the PocketMirror is no longer needed. The Palm Desktop is enough!
How to use SwitchSync
SwitchSync is so easy to use that you can do the conduit switch job without further help.
You may be very familiar with the common Palm applications, they are Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes.
Before you synchronize them between the desktop applications, you can choose different conduit products to do it.
On the main window of the application, you have three choices:
• Sync with Palm Desktop only
• Sync with Outlook only
• Sync with both of them ( via SwitchSync )
You can check the list of radio buttons, then the appropriate conduit products were selected. And the SwitchSync will restart the HotSync Manager to apply the changes. If you choose to sync both Palm desktop and Outlook, the default setting for all users is to sync with them in "Synchronize" mode, you can press the [ CUSTOM ] button on the left to customize the synchornize settings. There is a customize dialog, you can set users' options in it.
When SwitchSync starts, it will search for Palm Desktop on your desktop PC, if you are sure that you have installed these products while SwitchSync didn't find them, you can specify the install path of these products in the [ OPTION ] dialog, and let SwitchSync [ Refresh ] them again.
