PrintJobs

PrintJobs -- The replacement for mail merge! It is software designed to simplify the printing of infinite labels, envelopes and tent cards. PrintJobs links directly with all editions of iDo wedding software as well as Microsoft Outlook. You may also create custom address lists using these contacts.

Address Lists
PrintJobs links to your various address lists from Microsoft Outlook, iDo Wedding Couple Edition, iDo Wedding and Event Professional Edition and Comma Separated Values (CSV) files.

Selecting Names and Addresses
Once you have selected the appropriate address list, all corresponding contact names and addresses will appear. Simply select some or all contacts and drag them onto your selected product - labels, envelopes, tent cards, place cards or business cards. Line 1 consists of the contacts' names, outer envelope wording (iDo) and inner envelope wording (iDo). Lines 2+ consists of addresses and table numbers (iDo). PrintJobs allows flexibility to print Line 1 and Lines 2+ together, or just Line 1 alone.

Selecting Products - Labels, Envelopes, Tent Cards
PrintJobs comes pre-loaded with standard stationery products from Avery®, Masterpiece Studios®, and Southworth®, but you may add products and specify their dimensions as needed. When you select a product, you will see its corresponding template design located on the right side of the PrintJobs screen. Also, you may assign a Style to your product, which includes font size, color, line spacing, etc. for Line 1 and/or Lines 2+. Simply drag-and-drop your selected contacts onto the product template and click the 'Create PrintJob' button.

Create PrintJobs
Once you click the 'Create PrintJob' button your PrintJob will be created in Rich Text Format (.rtf). These RTF documents can be opened by many common word processors including Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect and OpenOffice.org Writer, to name a few.
