IBM Admira is a middleware extension from IBM Business Consulting Services. It enables broadcast users to produce and store audio/video content by turning their existing infrastructure into a powerful as well as flexible broadcast workflow.
MainConcept Admira Plug-In is a command-line tool for converting MPEG-2 video (incl. IMX50 format) and AES 8-channels audio input in MXF container into H.264 video and AAC 8-channles audio using the MP4 file format. It can be used for e.g. archiving content that have been recorded on tapes. The output additionally generates an index file in the Admira format, so it can be processed in the IBM workflow.
