Use Your Optical Disc Drive Just Like a Hard Disk
InstantBurn is a packet-writing solution that lets you operate your optical disc burner as if it was another hard drive or a huge floppy disk. Once launched, the program operates in the background, thus eliminating the need to worry about using optical disc burning software.
You simply drag and drop files onto your optical disc drive listed in the My Computer folder. It is also very easy to cut, copy, and paste or rename files and folders as you normally would on your hard drive. Burning data onto your optical disc with InstantBurn is truly unequivocally effortless. Features and Benefits
Extensive Rewritable Burner Support InstantBurn supports CD-RW, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and BD-RE (Blu-ray rewriteable discs including BDXL support). InstantBurn is more efficient than pre-mastering software, because you can write data by file onto a disc until it is full.
Handling Data like a Removable Disk With InstantBurn, making a rewritable CD, DVD or next generation optical disc is as easy as using a floppy or other type of removable storage. You can drag and drop files from folders, send unwanted files to the Recycle Bin for deletion, rename files, and change file property information.
Disc Erasing InstantBurn provides two options for erasing disc content: Normal Erase which erases the entire disc; and, Quick Erase, which only erases file information.
Verification Function The Verification function checks whether data has been written properly, ensuring the reliability of the data.
Temporary Disc Lead-out By creating a temporary disc lead-out while ejecting a disc, InstantBurn lets you play partially formatted discs on a ROM drive. You can choose to eject your disc without a temporary lead-out, but you will be limited to playing on rewritable drives.
Multiple UDF Standards Support InstantBurn supports UDF (Universal Disk Format) versions 1.02, 1.5, 2.0, 2.01 and 2.5.
