Using the new MainConcept AVC Encoder Plug-In for Ziris Screen Cutter, you have the opportunity to create your multimedia presentations for Ziris Canvas in H.264/AVC format for each screen as well. This new export functionality gives your videos a significant quality boost at given bitrates and allows 60p Full HD video to be used in Ziris Canvas for the first time. The future proof H.264/AVC standard is the format for Blu-ray Disc that is also supported by the Sony PS3. Due to its extraordinary versatility and quality, it is expected to be the next major standard for the professional broadcast industry as well as television transmission and content delivery worldwide. H.264/AVC offers quality which can rival that of MPEG-2 with as little as half the bitrate and therefore file size. This allows you to include more content in your multimedia presentations while at the same time offering highest broadcast quality.

Before you start to install the new version of the AVC Encoder Plug-In, please uninstall the current one. Additionally, make sure that no other MainConcept or Sony program is running during uninstalling or installing new MainConcept software.
